Cal Poly and AstroHub Are Partnering to Offer a Virtual Course on CubeSats

AstroHub and Cal Poly are partnering to offer a live, interactive training course to professionals and university students who are interested in CubeSat Development.

The event will be spearheaded by Dr. Pauline Faure, the director of CubeSat and Associate Professor of Aerospace Engineering at Cal Poly, who will be teaching attendees about CubeSat satellites. The event will cover the satellites’ parts and functions, their design trades, systems engineering processes, and CubeSat testing. After the course, attendees will have the skills to choose the right components for their own CubeSat missions and perform trade studies for hardware, software, and launch. They will also be able to review, understand, and create testing and flight requirements, and will be able to apply for satellite licensing. Attendees will receive a professional development certificate from AstroHub & Cal Poly.
