On October 28th, 2011 at 2:48 AM Pacific, the Delta II carrying NPP also carried three P-PODs and 6 CubeSats into orbit. All three P-PODs deployed successfully and ground operators around the world are tracking the CubeSats.

Launch Vehicle Failure on Glory Mission

The Taurus rocket carrying NASA's Glory scientific spacecraft and a P-POD carrying three university payloads failed to reach the proper altitude in Friday morning's launch. See NASA's Glory website for more information.

 

Three CubeSats Ready for launch!

NASA's first Educational Launch of Nanosatellites (ELaNa) is now set to launch in early March, 2011. Aboard the launch vehicle are three CubeSats from US Universities.

If you would like to help the three universities track their spacecraft, please forward the collected data to the locations on the bottom of the page. The relevant tracking information is listed below. Check this page for updates. Also, don't forget to hop on the CubeSat IRC channel to collaborate with the other operators.
