The main currently available subsystem is ARTICA (aerodynamic reentry technology in CubeSat application) a compact deorbiting system compatible with the CubeSat class of spacecrafts. ARTICA consists in an autonomous device that can be easily integrated on one end of the satellite: upon the completion of a pre-established count the system automatically deploys a deorbiting sail (>2 m2 area) that dramatically decreases time spent in orbit at EOL. There are two ongoing CubeSat missions involving the use of ARTICA.

German Orbital Systems

German Orbital Systems is a Berlin based company. We have set our goal to "demystify rocket science“ by providing well documented and understandable solutions for a wide range of small satellite applications. Our product portfolio includes CubeSat subsystems as well as turnkey missions in combination with a launch service. In cooperation with partner companies and individuals we offer consulting services in frequency coordination and other space related topics. Our products and services are based on the experience from 10 successful satellite missions of the Technische Universität Berlin.

IMT srl

Over 25 years on the space market, IMT has designed and developed subsystems / platforms for nano and microsatellites. Major IMT customers are ESA, ASI, SITAEL, Thales Alenia Space, Leonardo Finmeccanica, OHB System, RUAG Aerospace, DSO...

Since the first project developed by IMT, all equipment has been based on COTS technologies. Reliability levels are assured by features on architectures and testing capabilities (DPA, Radiation tests, Burn-in, etc...). Design skills are focused on: On-Board Computer, Power Distribution Unit, Battery Pack, Solar Array Deployment and Steerable mechanism (SADA), Structures.       

Alba Orbital 

Alba Orbital is the world leading PocketQube (Pico-satellite) developer and was founded in 2012, now employing 15 people. Our current offices are based in Glasgow Scotland, with 100m sq of design, manufacture and assembly space all under one roof. The team have won 3 major contracts with the European Space Agency (ESA), worth in excess of 1 million euro. Our platforms, Unicorn-1 and Unicorn-2 serve different parts of the satellite value chain with focus on low cost missions and with our new AlbaPod deployer, are able to fly on any launch vehicle. EMSISTI Space Systems and Technology

EMSISTI is a Brazilian compaany located at São José dos Campos, São Paulo focused on the aerospace systems. The Company, is integrated by a team of consultants and developers from the small satellites sector, with certificated experience in the development of CubeSats, the use of design and production methodologies for aerospace missions based in the construction of small satellites. The company's development team has members who have been part of real missions and have been successfully launched and operated in Brazil since 2010.
